ARCHAEOLOGICAL PROCESS:
In order to protect, preserve, and present Ontario’s long history of human settlements, YNAS conducts intensive field surveys and salvage excavations in compliance with Ontario’s Ministry of Tourism and Culture’s Standards and Guidelines, and your planning and developmental criteria.
Methodology:
Our in-lab analysis is preformed by our well trained staff and consists of ceramic, lithic, paleobotanical, and zooarchaeological analysis when such artifacts have been identified through our field survey.

In addition, our computer and technical staff organize, display, and present the variety of spatial information from our survey into a Geographical Information System (GIS). Our mapping, graphics editing, and database design/construction are consistent and easy to use and follow.
